2763.0. "SMU and SO problems in v3.0" by KERNEL::OTHENJ () Thu May 27 1993 16:37
ALL-IN-1 v3.0-1
Hello,
The customer is a heavy user of TM, and has come across various Set Owner
problems since upgrading to v3.0. From the article,
General Information and Known Problems Using Set Owner (SO) in TM
it states that you need to use SMU as well as SO. Although the customer was
not too happy with this, he is currently using both options, but he has now
come across the following problem
User A creates event and invites User B
User B replies and says yes
User B then edits event and adds a comment
User C uses option SO and SMU to User A and reads the second mail message
in the inbox with the comments.
It comes back with the error
There are no addressees for this message
and a mail message is created in the CREATED folder with no information. I
have managed to reproduce here, but do not understand why the customer
still has 'mailing' problems when he is using SMU as well. Has anyone seen
these types of problems, or could give me an explanation of why it is
happening? Or I suppose the SPR queue could increase again.
Thanks,
Julie

| Hi Julie,
I haven't experienced this one myself yet. I'll be out of the office
for a week. I'll look at it when I come back. Sounds like we've got a
3rd SO/SMU combination that has problems.
Submit the SPR. I've given my time management reviewer until I get
back into the office to complete his backlog 8-)))
I'll update the STARS article when I come back, if it's needed.
