2746.0. "FA <folder-name> from within Index - bug ?" by KIRKTN::GMURRAY (Have Mercy I Cry City !) Mon May 24 1993 13:05

    Hi,

    One of our users has just reported the following reproducible ?bug. Is
    anyone aware of this already ?

    Filing attachment from a message to a folder using a one line
    command i.e. "FA KEN" (KEN is folder name) does not automatically file
    the attachment. (The FA KEN is performed from within an Index form).

    The Drawer/Folder/Title screen appears and again "KEN"
    has to be entered as folder name. Error message is then given "INVALID
    CHOICE - RE ENTER" But........attachment IS filed (Incorrect Message)
    !!

    Cheers,

    	Gil

2746.1Known problemIOSG::MAURICENight rolls in, my dark companionMon May 24 1993 14:468
    Hi,

    This is a known problem that is fixed in the PFR. The FA command was
    not allowing for the folder name to be present as part of the command.

    Thanks for noting it.

2746.2PFR ?PAKORA::GMURRAYHave Mercy I Cry City !Tue May 25 1993 12:098
    Hi Stuart,

    Thanks for the reply. Pardon my ignorance, but what is the PFR, and
    where do I get one ?

    Thanks,

2746.3PFR = Possible future releaseIOSG::MAURICENight rolls in, my dark companionTue May 25 1993 14:4416
Hi,

The PFR is our euphemism for the next release of ALL-IN-1. It stands for
Possible Future Release and so is not a formal commitment. Other notes
conferences aren't so strict (paranoid!) as this one is about discussing
futures, but there is a restricted notes conference (ABBOTT::A1INFO) for that
purpose where details of the PFR are available.

The PFR is being built as a series of base levels with the intention that most
will be available for Internal Field test, and some for External Field Test.
Currently only an Internal Field test is out, and distribution of this is being
controlled.

Cheers

Stuart
