| Brian,
Look at note 1939.1 in this conference. I think you will
also want to check DDIF::CDA.
Are you asking to change the language after the conversion of
the document?

| Thanks for the reply,
Note 1939.1 doesn't seem to exist.
It doesn't matter wether the language is changed during the dx -> wpl
conversion, or afterwards.
Thanks,
Brian

2741.3 | Only for older .WPL files | IOSG::NEWLAND | Richard Newland, IOSG, REO2-G/L2 | Mon May 24 1993 11:48 | 16 |
| I tried the following:
1. Convert a V4 .WPL file (with the language field set) to .DX
2. Convert the .DX file back to .WPL
and the language field in the final .WPL file is set to the original value.
Therefore it would appear that the language setting is only blank when
converting older .DX files. The language field will be set the first time
the WPS-PLUS V4 editor is to edit the file. I'm not sure what the WPS-PLUS
V4 formatter will do. I suggest you ask in the WPS-PLUS conference.

| As I understand the language field in stored in the extended header
introduced in V4 WPS, this extended header is not present in the old DX
file.
I'll try asking the question in the WPS conference.
Thanks,
Brian
