      I have a customer who is trialing ALL-IN-1 V3.0 and he has asked 
      the following : 
      
      Is it possible to build distribution lists for a specific group or 
      groups of users ?
      
      If it is not ucrrentley possible will it be at some future date ?

    Hi Wayne,
    
    	sure, there some options from the GS (Group Service) Menu
    CGD ... Create a group from a DL.
    CDG ... Create a DL from a group.
    
    So you can easyly create some groups and a little bit more.

    This isn't quite what Wayne meant...
    
    The customer would like to be able to create a distribution list - say
    IT. All people in IT would be able to use this distribution list when
    mailing, but no-one outside IT could use it.
    
    I guess it would be more sensible to say that there is a flag for
    groups that disables a group from being used by anyone outside that
    group...(the word 'group' appears a lot here... ;^))
    
    ie
    
    If I'm in IT, I can use *IT in mail and DRM
    If I'm not in IT, I can't...
    
    Will this functionality ever be implemented.....?

    I thought that there must something more behind the 'easy' question.
    Your 'wish' sounds great, a lot of my customers are also interested in
    that function.
    
    Maybe there's a possibility for a PFR????

    Surely you could customise ALL-IN-1 to do this? using one of the UFLAG
    fields in Profil and a bit of nifty named data on the Mail Header form
    
    sort of: (and i'm making this up at home without manuals)
    
    o if #emdarress = "@IT" then XOP ~~check_them_out~~
    o ~~check_them_Out~~
      if profil.uflag1[Oa$USER] neq 1 then get #emdaddress=""\\
         get oa$display = "sorry bucko you can't do this"\force
    
    no I haven't done it myself but it doesn't sound impossible.

I could do the customization - but it would be nice in a PFR as a standard 
part of the product...
