2694.0. "DDIF and ALL-IN-1 3.0?" by ROM01::DESPOSITO () Tue May 11 1993 11:34
Hello,
I need some clarifications about DDIF support in ALL-IN-1.
A customer, who has ALL-IN-1 3.0 and CDA linked in it, created a
LOGO with Dec paint and wants to print it from ALL-IN-1 , or better
to include it in an ALL-IN-1 document and print to a Postscript Declaser.
I'm afraid it's not possible, but I'd like to be sure about it and
to understand what he can do with this CDA support.
Thank you in advance
Licia

2694.1 | try this ? | COMICS::BARHAM | Norbert: | Wed May 12 1993 12:32 | 24 |
| I tried this the other day (probably not the best way but it works.)
Assuming it's a DDIF image you can convert it to postscript with
$convert/doc imagefile.img/format=ddif imagefile.eps/format=ps
Then I recall you need to copy the EPS file to WPL$PRT (I couldn't get
it to work otherwise) and in your WPS-PLUS document add an EPS control
block such as
Here is some text followed by an image
-----------------------start control-------------------
EPS WPL$PRT:imagefile.eps 3x3cm
-----------------------end control---------------------
This text comes after the image. The control block above scales the
image to 3x3cm.
HTH,
Clive
