Is there an easy way of forwarding subscriber mail from one system to another? Perhaps the use of a special mail destination? Thanks

Why would you want to do this? the whole point of SUBSCRIBERS: is to deliver mail to the local system. [SUBSCRIBERS: does not recognise any Mail Destinations other than ALL-IN-1 (as god intended)] If you really want to defeat this nifty piece of design then use the APR doc set and replace SUBSCRIBERS: with a system distribution list of the same them - mail will then be auto-forwarded (redirected) Or you could always log into the original system and do II ALL XF Regards, Andrew.D.Wicks

The reason we want to do this is because a number of our users have moved to a separate node. They still want to receive subscriber mail which is sent to the main cluster. I guess that it sounds like a UDP may be the answer with somene logging in every few days. Unless someone has a better idea?

I think a previous suggestion is better, of making up another, proper, System DL instead, which would have the other users, at their remote addresses, in it already. The "magic" SUBSCRIBERS: distribution list is intended for local announcements like shutdowns, maintenance etc. Graham |
