2667.0. "Why have MH, SH and O options disappeared from EM?" by TINNIE::SETHI (Ah (-: an upside down smile from Oz) Thu May 06 1993 01:45

    Hi IOSGland,

I noticed sometime back that two useful options were removed from the
EM sub-system, they are MH Modify Header, SH Show Header and O Original.
These options are available from the Index forms and Read option.

These options on the EMC1 form were quite useful was there a good
reason to remove ? I am just curious that's all.

    Regards,

    Sunil

2667.7Fixed in DESKtop Server V1.2 (SSB) kitIOSG::COOKALL-IN-1 Support Manager 830 3636Fri May 07 1993 17:3623
this is a known problem with ALL-IN-1 DESKtop Server for VMS V1.1.

The SSB version of this product don't support V3.0.

An S-KIT (Desktop server V1.1S) is available from CSCs and (W:R) on IOSG
which adds basic support for ALL-IN-1 V3 - but unfortunately caused the
above mentioned problems by replacing (the wrong version of) EMC2 form
    regardless.

The Field Test 1 version of DESKtop Server for OpenVMS V1.2 also
    exhibited this problem.

The problem was resolved in FT2 kit for the V1.2 release of the DESKtop
    server.

ALL-IN-1 DESKtop Server for OpenVMS V1.2 has now been submitted to the
SSB and will FCS sometime in MAY-93

Hope this helps - congratulations to Andy wicks for spotting this.

    Regards
