Perhaps someone could put a pointer in on this one. If I print a mail message that has a WPS file as the body I get the mail header information properly formatted with bolding etc. If, however, the body text is ASCII the mail header information is not formatted. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

When you print an ASCII mail message it will be formatted as defined in the ASCII EDT record of the FORMAT master. It appears that your system is formatting ASCII mail messages using the ALL-IN-1 ASCII formatter. This formatter supports bolding by doing overprinting. If you are printing the file to a laser printer the overprinted characters are not bolded. If you update the Handling for your message to 'STANDARD ASCII' it will be formatted using the WPS-PLUS formatter. Richard |
