Hello, ...still about CM subsystem... I would like to know which is the better method to handle the user access to the site applications that are contained in the application areas. ACLs and identifiers must be created and granted to the users manually ? Where can I find documentation about this ? Many thanks in advance. Bye Graziella

Use of ALL-IN-1 groups makes the granting of identifiers to the users simpler. You still have to put the ACL on the files yourself. Alternatively you can get the application to check for the possession of the identifer before it will let the users do anything, e.g. open the FLBs etc. I think Tony's book covers this. Chapter 9 of the Management Guide describes managing groups. These might help. Ro |
