2603.0. "Tm Corruption on Meeting record!" by KERNEL::COOPER (Suzanne Cooper UK Customer Support (833)3502) Thu Apr 22 1993 15:13

I can't seem to find this problem reported before, and I have only been
able to reproduce it once. And I haven't a clue what is going wrong,
some can anyone shed some light? (the customer can reproduce it every
time and is on ALL-IN-1 3.0 unpatched)

A user creates a event with attendees (it all appears to look ok at
this point the meeting gets scheduled and the meeting notices get sent
    out.)

User want to then delete event but when they try they get the error "
You are not the scheduler of the event"

If you read the event it looks ok.

The receipient(sp?) of the mail answers stating they want to attend,
but if you read the mail in the outbox it is rubbished i.e.

and after the postmaster runs they get a delivery failure report back

It appears that the record in Meeting.dat may be corrupt, or even not
    exist, What is causing this?

2603.1Partial upgrade failure?AIMTEC::ZANIEWSKI_DWhy would CSC specialists need training?Thu Apr 22 1993 18:2310
If this system was upgraded, the most likely cause is that the
post-installation failed to convert the MEETING.DAT file to
version 3.0 format. Proper format is fixed length 748 byte
        records.

There is a STARS article titled, V2.4 to V3.0 Upgrade Potential
Time Management Problems and Resolutions, that describes the
        problem and solution.
