2602.1 | Look like a WordPerfect problem | UTRTSC::SMEETS | Martin Smeets DS SSO Utrecht (NL) | Thu Apr 22 1993 16:51 | 23 |
| Hi Chele,
Looks to me like a WordPerfect problem !
Well I know from ALL-IN-1 V2.4 , WordPerfect V5.1 and the V2.0.. integration kit
that ALL-IN-1 executes a WordPerfect script (WPCORP_LIST ??) if the handling
field contains WPCORP.
Some possibilities:
1. Have a look at the WPCORP_LIST.SCP file (I don't know the exact name at the
moment). via debug or trace. The name can be found in the ALL-IN-1 format
(option SM MFP MFT) datafile field "list function"
2. Did you compile the cmtxl after you did install the integration kit
3. Do you have a WPCORP-LIST.SCP from a V2.0... integration kit ?
4. Put a note in YUPPY::WORDPERFECT
5. Contact WordPerfect

A former Digital employee who has upgraded some of our ALL-IN-1 customers,
tells that after upgrade from v2.4 to v3.0 the ALL-IN-1 Manager has not
access to Danish and Share areas in CM,
- AND that this makes the WordPerfect integration fail.
I have not checked it.

| Hello again,
re <<< Note 2602.1 >Looks to me like a WordPerfect problem !
How can you say such a thing! ;^)
Customer has done HEAPS of customizations....
Customer did compile the cmtxl after installing the integration.
He is currently functional with WPCORP FORMAT modified to include
LIST_DOCUMENT /DATA=OA$CURDOC @OA$CURDOC
but doesn't much fancy it - ie he'd like it working without him having to
"fudge" anything.
Thanks & regards,
Chele

It might be more helpful if you could tell us what is in the WPCORP
list function (<GET FORMAT.LISTFUNC[OA$CURDOC_FORMAT] )?? And if this
is a script, some idea of the contents would help. [Not many people see
WPCORP integration internally!]
Vanilla ALL-IN-1 (if there is such a thing) uses:
LIST_DOCUMENT/DATA=OA$CURDOC @OA$CURDOC
OR...
DO WPLIST if FORMAT eqs "" or non-MAIL document
[which then reverts to above based upon FORMAT.LISTFUNC]
LIST_DOCUMENT invokes what is called the "Compound Text DSAB" which
pretends that the document is just one big structure including MAIL
headers, attachments etc etc. And each component file will be opened
with its own DSAB (e.g. WPCORP DSAB).
So - you have to check WPLIST for customisations and then follow
through to what happens in the FORMAT.LISTFUNC cmd or script. If you
really want, you could turn on trace to follow all of this.
But somewhere, someone has to list the document with either
LIST_DOCUMENT and the Compound Text DSAB or LIST of a file or piped
output.
Perhaps the customer has customized this away?! They do that sort of
thing occasionally! :-)
It is a little difficult for us to tell from 10k miles away n'est pas?
Paul.
