2581.0. "forward in index gets the wrong mail..." by MSAM00::HOSOKEHUN () Fri Apr 16 1993 09:53

    HI,

    I am running ALL-IN-1 V2.4 on VMS V5.5-2

Recently, one of my account manager reported a strange problem and I
can duplicate it on his account. The steps are:

II (to get list of new mails)
R (to read a new mail)
D Y(to delete the current mail)
{up Arrow} (to go to previous unread mail)
    R (to read mail)
F ( to forward this mail, however, what I get in the subject field is
the title of the previous deleted mail, and if I am not careful,
I would have forwarded a useless mail)

NOW, if I exit from reading the new mail and then fo a FORWARD,
everything works as plan, I have the correct subject title.

I cannot duplicate the same thing on my account, wonder if someone out
there has experience this problem. Any fix ??

    Thanks,
    Angeline

    More strange behaviour...

    I did a EW and a FCO on this manager's account;

    now when I do a II, R, D Y, {up arrow}, R, F......
I get the title of an already deleted message !!!!

Now, when the receipient reads the mail, the wrong title was displayed
but the right mail gets forwarded.

When I did it on my own account, I noticed that I do not automatically
get the subject filled, how can I reset that ??

    Regards again,
    Angeline
