Hi My customer use ALL-IN-1 3.0 and he try to add new printer table as share table. He has already tested the two files ATOPE.PRA and ATOPE.PRC in his [.TABLE] directory. The print is fine. Now he has copied the two file in the KOA$PRINT_SHARE.DIR , and he has create a correct STYLE. When he print using this style in foreground , he get the error message "Printer Character file not found" I suppose that the "printer character file" is ATOPE.PRC , but perhaps, I'm wrong. Where should this file reside? Thanks a lot for help Simon

Simon, just an idea. When you've finished your changes of printer Tables (PRA,PRC) you've to copy the files to WPL$PRT which is a search list pointing to [allin1.site.print] [allin1.print] and OA$LIB_LLV. It's the same like KOA$PRINT_DIR. Printer character not found - one possible reason for this could be, that the protection is wrong. Check for W:RE. But the most problem I've encountered is : Check with WP PT (TX DT in German) E your desired table choose FO and look for the entry 'File'. Here's the location for the .PRC file.!!!! Hello, Another possibility is that after the PRA and the PRC worked fine in [.tables], they where RENAMED to KOA$PRINT_DIR. The PRA file contains a hardcoded reference to the PRC with the old file name. Just a thought. Regards, Jan |
