2561.0. "Screen mash by pressing <DEL> or <BACKSPACE> in editor" by HGOVA::ALEXLUI () Wed Apr 14 1993 10:31
Hi,
Our client, having ALL-IN-1 Mail for DOS version 1.1a/DE, met the
following problem:
Pressing <DELETE> or <BACKSPACE> key IMMEDIATELY AFTER ENTERING the
editor will turn the whole line into green-color bar and hence the
whole line (text) becomes invisible.
Subsequent pressing of the two keys in other line get the same effect
for that line.
However, if the first key pressed is not the <DELETE> or <BACKSPACE>
after enterring the editor, then this case will not happen.
It has been checked that the text was actually modified (one character
deleted by pressing either keys once) but only the screen display turned
into mash.
The client has tried the case in two PC from different vendor , one was
IBM and the other was COMPAQ, both using color monitor, and the results
were the same.
Any help?
Thanks
Alex
