A similar question to this was asked back in note 677 last year but got no replies. So here goes again.... I have a customer who has 1200 ALL-IN-1 users. They are asking about archiving. They are currently on V2.4 of ALL-IN-1. If there any large customers out there who have implemented archiving on V2.4: What type of storage was used for the archive (e.g. disk, tape, optical, Jukebox) What type of problems did they have (if any?) How do they manage the process. Any information will be gratefully received. Pat Walsh

2511.1 | please spell ALL-IN-1 like this | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | Oscar the Grouch is an Optimist! | Thu Apr 01 1993 18:45 | 13 |
I have modified the title of the base note to reflect the fact that this question is apparently about ALL-IN-1 which is DIGITAL's number 1 Office Product as opposed to ALL-IN-ONE which is a brand of nappies (diapers) which I believe cannot be archived without getting real smelly (:==:) I will rely on an IOSg based mod to correct the spellings in the text of the base note Regards, Andrew.D.Wicks (co-moderator IOSG::ALL-IN-1) |
