Where are all the new printer table files (.PRA etc) in the A1V30 dist. kit? Somehow our upgrade failed to place newer copies of all the PRA files in [ALLIN1.PRINT] and now we're getting lots of PRINTER_ATTRIBUTE_FILE_ERROR messages when printing. Also, the Mgmt guide in Ch. 13 p.1 says that LPS40 is a supported printer type, but I cannot find any LPS40.PRA, even on my co-existant system. Only LPS20. Are they interchangable? Thanks, Al

Al, They are in A1CUS030.B .... The following list contains the PS related tables. [DIAMOND.A1DI$KITS123A.CUSB]A4PS.PRA;1 11 12-MAR-1992 09:56 [DIAMOND.A1DI$KITS123A.CUSB]A4PS2250.PRA;1 11 12-MAR-1992 09:56 [DIAMOND.A1DI$KITS123A.CUSB]PS.PRA;1 10 12-MAR-1992 10:03 [DIAMOND.A1DI$KITS123A.CUSB]PS_2250.PRA;1 11 12-MAR-1992 09:50 I think PS.PRA is ment for both LPS types. There are no WPS-PLUS Printer Tables called LPS40.PRA or LPS20.PRA distributed with ALL-IN-1 V3.0. If you have an LPS20 table then it must be site customization, and it's probably in the WPS-PLUS V3 format and cannot be used with WPS-PLUS V4. For ANSI queues you should use the LN03 table, and for PostScript queues you should use the PS table. Richard |
