ALL-IN-1 V3.0 A customer created a new user account specifying A1MDATA: as the device and [AHARON.A1] as the directory. After the account was created he decided that he wanted the directory to be in [AHARON] so he renamed all the files in [.A1] into [AHARON] and deleted A1.DIR. The user would receive "Error Opening DOCDB" when entering ALL-IN-1. GOLD-W would show that it couldn't find the directory. After recreating [.A1] and renaming the files back into [.A1] the account became accessible. How can the customer accomplish what he desires (changing the directory from [.A1] to [AHARON]. Thanks, Cb.

Hi, Did the customer edit the Profile entry for the user ALL-IN-1 directory? (MGT MUA {select a/c} E, 2nd field, page 1). If he didn't, then initialization would look in the wrong place for the DOCDB. Cheers DaveT | |||||

Ahhh - things are never that simple ;-) The Great Wise One (SM) reminded me of some notes replies that I wrote some time back. You could try those - see notes 1390.* in this conference. Cheers DaveT |
