Hello:
Is there any way in ALL-IN-1 to alter the
Oa$maides dsab? A customer would like to add another valid mail
destination for the
Profile Mail Destination field? I have been looking but could find no
way
to do this.
Any ideas/suggestions/comments?
Thanks very much.

Hi,
All you have to do is make up a name, say AIMTEC, and then create
OA$LIB:AIMTEC.COM. When this is in place you can set the mail
destination to AIMTEC. You may also need a OA$LIB:AIMTEC.CMU file.
OA$LIB:VAXMAIL.COM is an example of a .COM file, and OA$LIB:X400.CMU an
example of a .CMU file.
Have a look in Section 18.7 of the Application Programming Guide, and
come back if you have more queries.
Cheers

Stuart,
But in v3.0 Create User validates against the "fixed" list of OA$MAIDES
values so you aren't allowed to Create an account and immediately
give it a value of an optional mail destination such as TMR (nudge, nudge)
so you have to create it and then edit it and that's a pain in the ***.
To answer Laurie's question - with a BLISS compiler and some revenue you can
do (almost) anything - or you could refix Create User???
