VMS 5.4 ALL-IN-1 3.0 A customer is running FCVR on their site, and one error which they saw, and don't really understand is: "Drawer has the same IUID as drawer {drawername}" What does this mean? The drawer is used by the user, and they don't see any problems at all. Ideas? Steve.

Hi, It means that there is one real drawer that has two entries in the Partition file for it. A scenario where this can happen is if a user has two ALL-IN-1 accounts pointing to the same directory. For example user SMITH has another account called SMITH_TEST, and after Partition Seeding ran at installation time you have entries for: [SMITH]MAIN [SMITH_TEST]MAIN both pointing to the same directory. The FCVR has detected this and realised that it shouldn't process the drawer twice, otherwise it would potentially count the same mail messages twice and hence get its usage counts wrong. It has put out the message so that you can check that you really want this situation. Cheers Stuart | |||||
