2310.1 | A customisation? | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | I dreamt I found a working printer! | Mon Feb 22 1993 19:17 | 9 |
| Normand,
What happens if you use ALLIN1/NOCUSTOM?
what keystrokes are you using?

2310.2 | works in English, not in French | MQOSWS::N_CARDELLA | Father of Tiger | Mon Feb 22 1993 19:39 | 7 |
| Andrew,
I tried it again with ALL-IN-1 / English and it works just fine.
My problem is with ALL-IN-1 / French. I'll try the Local Engineering
Group and see what they have to say.

2310.3 | Strangely we have a FRENCH system! | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | I dreamt I found a working printer! | Mon Feb 22 1993 19:45 | 12 |
| Normand,
That was the missing piece of information - we always tend to assume
American English here unless stated otherwise.
You're right it does - it also appears to TAB past the 'numeros' fields
and the 'type de donees' amongst others
regards,
Andrew.D.Wicks

2310.4 | What if you hit more <TAB>s? | IOSG::SHOVE | Dave Shove -- REO2-G/M6 | Tue Feb 23 1993 11:42 | 5 |
| It's probably wrong field ordering.
Very easy to do with the FMS "editor".

2310.5 | thanks | MQOSWS::N_CARDELLA | Father of Tiger | Tue Feb 23 1993 14:48 | 5 |
| Hitting more tabs works... but it's yukky!
Thanks for the response, I'll tell my customer.

2310.6 | It's a (French) bug, but you could fix it for them | IOSG::SHOVE | Dave Shove -- REO2-G/M6 | Wed Feb 24 1993 12:00 | 21 |
| Forgive me - when I said "very easy to do" I meant "a very easy mistake
for the developer to make", not "very easy for your customer to work
round".
This is a bug (in the French version), and you should report it.
Meanwhile, you could fix it for your customer locally, if it's annoying
them -
Using Customisation Management (of course ;-)), Edit form
EM$INDEX$FIND.
E<return> S<return> for Edit Screen image.
O<return> for Field ordering (once inside the FMS editor),
then Gold-C for "restore Correct order"
then Gold-<keypad 7> to get back to the FMS editor menu,
then E<return> Y<return> to exit the editor
Then Move to Live etc.
Hope this helps,
Dave.
