Can I run this procedure at anytime or does another command file run it? I made changes to the files but the documentation (Tuning ALL-IN-1 15.2.5.2) is not clear as to when/how it's run (auto or manually). Also if sdaf (oa$share) if large (1200+ blks), can it be reduced somehow? regards, Morris

Morris, You should not attempt to run SYS$STARTUP:OAFC$STARTUP.COM to start up the file cabinet server. This can be achieved by: a) Running A1V30START.COM b) Using the STA option from the ALL-IN-1 Manage Servers subsystem. Kevin. | |||||

Morris, There is no real problem with running it your own, you need to pass in parameters to it. You should, for safety reasons, run it from the STA option though. --Bob |
