2275.0. "run backround tasks on a server?" by HURRU::SIEWERT (Doug Siewert @MPO) Tue Feb 16 1993 23:20
My customer has a cluster with a common system disk, consisting of a 3400 and
4300. The 3400 is running ALL-IN-1 with an unlimited use license. The 3400 is
dying on the vine, largely due to the sender/fetcher and other "background tasks".
The customer wants to run these tasks on the 4300, but when they try to start
ALL-IN-1 on the 4300 they get an error from LMF. The question is, what is the
cheapest license they can purchase to make this scenario work? Will one personal
use license on the 4300 suffice?
PS I need a definitive answer, not an educated guess.

| You'd have to decide on the Ts and Cs legality of this approach though!
