2219.0. "SFCP not processed" by BERN01::MAURERF (Isn't your mouse looking for cheese?) Fri Feb 05 1993 14:29

    Hi all,

I actualy migrating documents from SFCP to new drawers structure using
SFCP_migrate.scp. The process terminate with a succesfully message, but
looking at the log file, it stands that 0 document have been processed.
It seems that the "get #new_folder = oa$curdoc" of the script
SFCP_CONVERT_ACL.SCP doesn't works. If I try this command interactivly,
then I get the message "drawer is not available".

Now one reason for this error could be that I removed some elements of
the old SFCP ASSETS. Can somebody tell me which elements are required
to perform the migration. Any other ideas are welcome.

    felix,

the list of SFCP elements that can be removed *AFTER* the migration
is complete are listed in section 10.9 of the Installation Guide
Part 1. Somewhere to start anyway.

2219.2Partition seeding problemBERN01::MAURERFIsn't your mouse looking for cheese?Fri Feb 12 1993 10:5414
    Andrew,

I have been able to migrate my SFC. The problem was with partition
seeding. It seems that there is some differences between single language
and multi languages, when doing a write function using profil dsab on
field .language. Single language requires "GERMAN" as multi languages
    don't care "GERMAN" or "DEUTSCH".

I also found that only one element is required from old sfcp kit to
migrate SFC, this is the form SFC_SAC, which is used to convert acl's.

    Thanks anyway for your help.

Just for the record, SFC_SAC is a 3.0 Base Element. So removing all
SFCP stuff won't affect the Migration.
