G'day All,
A customer has ALL-IN-1 IOS 3.0 installed a user accesses a
document in a shared drawer from the WP menu and does a GOLD F. When the
user goes to the EM menu and types IR the menu is not displayed and the
process appears to hang. However this is not the case always the index
menu is not displayed apart from the ">" (sometimes) on the EM menu and
you cannot do anything, as I have said other times the process appears to
be hung.
I looked at the trace and got the following error messages

The logfile can be found on RIPPER::USER$TSC[SETHI]:JAPAN.LOG;1, should you
require access to it. If RIPPER is down as has been the case lately
another copy is available on BUSHIE::USER$TSC[SETHI]:JAPAN.LOG;1. The
file protection is set to w:r.
Saw a stars article but this did not fit in with the reported problem.
I also had a look at the terminal settings and enabled Hostsync and
Altypeahd, made no difference at all, the reason why I did this was
because of a FMS problem reported a few years back.

| G'day All,
Managed to solve the problem the customer had not followed the
requirements for the users personal quota's in SYSUAF. I requested that
they increase them as recommended in the installation guide this solved
the problem.
