Hi, I have a short question on LMF. We used to apply PAK - with version # - without release date and it works all the time. Now our PAK was expired and we have applied a new PAK, in the same procedure as before, but I have the following error during installation: %LICENSE-F-INVALID_DATE, license is invalid for this product release date Then I modified a file kilmf.com (in saveset A) from: $ grant 'a1$license'/producer=DEC/version=30000/date=14-feb-1992 to: $ grant 'a1$license'/producer=DEC/version=30000 then it works. Could anyone tell me why it is like this ? Thank you very much indeed. Pete

> Could anyone tell me why it is like this ? Thank you very much indeed. Its not just the installation that does this, image startup does this check too. We made the installation check exactly the same as the image check to be kind to you, so that we don't replace a working ALL-IN-1 system with one that doesn't. If this is an internal site then you need to pull another license from VTX. Internally Digital has a policy that puts a date on VTX licenses one year in advance of when the license was issued. You then can't use it with products RELEASED after that date. ALL-IN-1 thinks it was released on 14-Feb-1992 so it invalidates any licenses with dates before that (per LMF policy) during installation and image startup. Where did you get your license from?
