a few questions on ALL-IN-1 3.0... the customer wants me to customize these for them... 1. When a user does LK (lock keyboard) they want to change the number of times that a user can try typing in a password. they want it more compatible with VMS. I've tried looking for the code, but when I lock my keyboard, i can't do a <control>N to see the ND of the form. 2. they want to remove the functionality of MBR, MBI, MBC I understand that this is leftover from 2.2. I didn't see anything in DEFAULT. where is teh code located? is it possible to customize? thanks - ann PS no hurry on the answers, i'll be on vacation for the next couple of weeks.

Ann, > 1. When a user does LK (lock keyboard) they want to > change the number of times that a user can try typing in a > password. they want it more compatible with VMS. Try the symbol SYS$LCKB_FAILATTEMPTS on the page 5-43 of AP Ref.I. > 2. they want to remove the functionality of MBR, MBI, MBC > I understand that this is leftover from 2.2. I didn't see anything > in DEFAULT. where is teh code located? is it possible to > customize? The form EMC itself has those options. Yukiji

Hi, The MBR etc. options are also on the menu OVERQUOTA if they have document quota enabled remove the options from there too. Sunil

Well, we do. $SEARCH can't find "MO_OLD_MAIL" on any form other than EMC. Searching *.a1$msg reveals that there are two symbols for "EMC" - MO_OLD_MAIL_UNSENT and MO_OQ_MBC (which is only used on the OVERQUOTA form. No, I don't know why they have different symbols.) Dave. |
