    All of the French/Dutch releases you mention were out by September 
    (I think) and may be ordered from SSB. There are no market variants
    for the U.S English language if that's what some of your examples
    were.
    
    Note 7.6 contains a pointer to a way to get the U.S Kit. if any
    non-U.S kits were on the network then I imagine they would be
    maintained by the Localisation centre in Frankfurt so I would contact
    them.

    Re .1: There is a US-kit containing the following market components
    (see Read Before ... AV-PQW5A-TE):
    
    Belgian, Canadian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, GB, German, Italian,
    Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Swiss, US.
    
    The order number (in Europe) is QA-AAAAE.
    
    On CD, you may collect the market components located in all the
    language subdirectories, e.g. device:[A1LFR030.KIT].

    Perhaps you could send me your version of the Read Before you install
    because the one I got from SSB is numbered AV-EV37H-TE and that's the
    only one I put into STARS.

    AV-PQW5A-TE is the "Read Before" of the US country kit,
    AV-EV37H-TE is the "Read Before" of the Base kit.
    ... at least that's what our release engineer says

    This is new to me.  As far as I am aware this does not appear in the US
    kit.

    Well if Martin's confused then I know i'm in good company.
    
    I have one of only two "REAL" SSB kits (the TK50 one) that the CSC
    ordered and i've kept all the paper that came in the box including the
    blank SPR form and I don't have the other ReadBefore.
    
    Perhaps someone could post it here or mail it to me.

    The AV-PQW5A-TE is a Read before you install for the
    ALL-IN-1/US/COUNTRIES kit (QA-AAAAE-*).  This is a kit containing the
    English & British language components plus various market components. 
    It is intended for customers who wish to have English (or British) as a
    primary language, but in other countries (mostly European, but also
    Canada).  Prior to V3.0, there were separate kits for English language
    with each market component.
    
    There are network kits available for English, British, French & German
    kits, with US, GB, FR, DE, BE, CA & CH (swiss) markets.  Note 7.6 tells
    how to find these.  Other kits must be obtained from CD-ROM or SSB.
    Note 7.6 gives instructions on how to find where they are.

    Thanks - i'll forward it for submission into STARS. The January VMS
    CD which arrived at my desk on Thursday seems to have a lot of new
    SSAs, SPDs etc for European (and Japanese) ALL-IN-1 so maybe this
    one is on it.
