Hi, Can anyone help me to create an LPS20 REGIS print style ? We were able to successfully print Regis files to the LPS20 before the v3.0 upgrade, but seem to have lost it since. Now all I can get is the "control information". Extracted to VMS it prints no problem. Could it be that I have to create a REGIS Handling format ?? Thanks, Gil

Gil, In the print style, you should set the Data Type field to be REGIS. Also, I have a couple of questions about your documents. What are the HANDLING and DSAB values for the documents? these values will affect how it is printed. Jon | |||||
1973.2 | Solution : DSAB - ASCII, Handling - ASCII FORMAT | PAKORA::GMURRAY | Have Mercy I Cry City ! | Thu Dec 17 1992 16:13 | 21 |
Hi Jon, Thanks for the reply. I took your advice and set the print style Data Type field to REGIS. I then checked out the document as requested : DSAB was ASCII. Handling was blank. I then did a Find on the Handling field and tried printing with ASCII FORMAT. Lo and behold - it printed perfectly first time ! Thanks for putting me on the right track, Cheers, Gil |
