1946.0. "Responding to need for updated asset MJU" by OKBYUS::LUNDIN () Fri Dec 11 1992 14:51
I need some help in figuring out how to respond to an ALL-IN-1 customer
who has the MJU asset, really likes it, 'can't live without it', and
wants to upgrade to version 3.0 of ALL-IN-1.
I have tracked down that MJU has been upgraded by European assets group
to work with 3.0, but because I am in the U.S., I can not get the
updated version. I pursued this through U.S. assets and received the
following response.

Subj: RE: CSC is not aware of this
We no longer have assets to the US MJU asset. All the software
was sent to the Atlanta CSC. Unfortunately we do not have a
contact name to give you. Please call the CSC and ask them to
research this for you.
Regards,
Janine
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have called the CSC and the person I talked to indicated to me that
CSC does not have any access to the asset software.
I am not sure where to go next. Customers are a little bit behind here
in Minnesota, upgrading to 3.0, but I think this is only the first of
many who are going to be wanting their 'much-loved' asset products to
work with 3.0.
Any pointers or updated decisions on dealing with assets in the U.S.
would be most helpful and much appreciated.
Thanks,
Sandy

Hi Sandy,
We're in the process of finding out how (some) Assets should/could be
distributed in the US via the CSC. This situation should be cleared
next week (14 December). If you don't have an answer by then (or the
end of the week) please contact Aldo Demichelis @TNO. He manages the
European Office IST in Turin, which 'ownes' (maintains) the MJU Asset.
Ciao,
Simon

| Sandy,
The information being given out by the ASSETS library is *WRONG* - the
information being given out by the CSC is *CORRECT*.
The person who owns this issue is the new ALL-IN-1 Product Manager
Dave Holt@REO.
regards,
