Hi, I have a customer who has a number of users using ALL-IN-1 version 3. The problem they have is that some of the users (particularly ones that use ALL-IN-1 heavily) get the following error message : OA-W-NOPRV_UDPFNC Everything appears to be okay in Mail But they could not edit or create in Time Management or Word Processing Can anyone give me an idea as to why this could be happening ? They assure me that they are not using any DCL or UDP commands. The UDPFNC privilege is set to N in the users profile. Jason.

Jason, Seems like the problem as described in 309.*. However, no answer was found then either. Sorry, Simon

Simon, The only additional information the Customer can provide is that all the users seem to either be using or have used GOLD EXPAND at some point. Does this suggest anything ? Jason.

Hi, I too have a customer with the same problem by the sound of it. They have 3 different users who got biten.. User A was gold-f'ing and got error 'not authorized to run UDPFNC' customer set the UDPFNC flag to Y and the user hasn't seen error since, even though no udp was being used. User B got the same error message when printing a document, again the same change to the flag fixed the problem. No UDP's in account. User C had a problem with wpsdef.wpl this was re-placed then the user also got the same errors when using account,I am unsure of user actions, but again same change fixed it. No UDP'S being used. Is anyone checking into this or is it time to log it officially? -Trev |
