    A customer is having a problem with profile.dat after they integrated
    and de-integrated WordPerfect.
    
    When they go into SM MUA, they can select and read profile details
    okay, but after they've editted one, the current item block with the
    users name in it is blank, and if they try to select a user, doing a
    GOLD-L gives a list of blank entries.
    
    If a user tries to go into ALL-IN-1, and then takes the options US SWC,
    they get bombed out of ALL-IN-1, because it can't access the
    profile.dat. Here's the A1TRACE.LOG from this:

    All the user sees is that they are bombed out of ALL-IN-1 with the
    error "Error opening user profile file."
    
    The file itself is okay (right record format, no errors on analyse/rms
    etc.
    
    Any ideas?

    Steve,
    
    Did you double check the acl's and protections on profile.dat?  Also,
    you could check the entry forms to make sure they are pointing to
    the right file and make sure you have the correct .fdl.
    
    Finally, are you using SDC versions of the forms for prodil, sws, etc..
