The customer has another strange problem....
USERA creates a message on NODEA. uses WPSPLUS editor. attaches a
1-page message to the original. sends this to a distribution list.
USERB is on the DL. USERB has an AF set to NODEB.
USERB logs into NODEB to read the message. he gets stack dumped out of
ALL-IN-1. if I NEWDIR into USERB's account and try to read the =same
message, i also get stack dumped out of ALL-IN-1.
the message can be manipulated with no problem. if USERB does FT and
FA and can read bothe with no no problem.
i NEWDIRed into another user who rec'd this message and had no trouble
reading it. i also NEWDIRED into the senders account and had no
problem reading the message.
any ideas......thanks - ann

the sender and receiver's .DAT files are all indexed. no files are
missing in OA.DIR.
the sender does have the receiver set up as a nickname - JG the
nickname points to the receivers account on the senders system(NODEA). this
account has an AUTOFORWARD set to NODEB. the MAIDES is set to ALLIN1
so that the AF will work.
I'm having the sender (USERA) change his nickname for USERB to show
USERB's address on NODEB and then resend the "problem" message.

ann, no idea what could be causing this, but maybe you can try and isolate the various variables: try sending direct to USERB - USERB@A1@NODEB (i.e. no AF) send remote to NODEA - USERA@A1 (i.e. no NODEB) Is NODEB V2.4 as well? WPS-PLUS V3.1? and, of course, anything else you can think of! grahame | |||||
