1874.0. "Including large record size Sixel files?" by PRIMES::ZIMMERMANN (Mark @ COP, dtn 339-5318) Mon Nov 30 1992 14:49
A customer is trying to include a Sixel file into a document, and the file is
not displaying correctly. They have been told that WPS can only deal with
files less then 254 byte records. Is this so, if so is there a work around.
They are using DECimage to import the file
Rendering the IMage via:
IMAGE RENDER/out=filename/des=sixel/dev=ln03 image_file
Encoding the image
A!ENCODE filename/out=out_file SIXEL
including the file via gold-G
I have read the string 1701, but unfortunatly, I am not an ALL-IN-1 heavy.
Is this a problem that WPS just can't deal with (i.e. file with greater then
254 record size [the record size IS larger then 254])
thanks,
Mark
