1866.0. "SET MAIL USER problem" by MACNAS::PHUGHES () Fri Nov 27 1992 10:21

The Digital Base Element MAILMEMO2 is not being seen by ALL-IN-1 V3.0
when I make the element Live.We originally had customized this element
in V2.3 to suppress Distribution lists,and this still shows after
doing the above. The problem arises when a user sends a memo on
behalf of another user using Set Mail User feature,a message stating
that fact is not displayed.

Thanks for any help on this.

    Graham,
    I re-compiled the CMTXL,logged out etc but the Base Element does not
    show in the Live Area,after putting it Live. The 2.3 MAILMEMO2.blp
    shows "Dist. List Suppressed type "SH" to view" at the TO: Field
    when reading a memo,followed on the next line by Subject:
    I believe this was Ascot Bulletin originally?

1866.3Some other customisation? A hack??!!IOSG::PYEGraham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's ApprenticeMon Nov 30 1992 15:3917
    Pat,

    Have you got a customised version of MAILMEMO1.BLP as well? Or any
    other customisations to EMC1,2,3 etc.

    I can't see why this doesn't work, so there must be something odd on
    your system. Have a look through the Customisation Report etc., and se
    if you can spot anything.

    Or perhaps look in the SITE directories/form libraries directly in case
    there's something not registered in CM.

    Or perhaps there's something in the Development areas that you are
    seeing? Try from another account that doesn't have application
    privileges.
