1852.1 | What is OA$TERMINAL_PAGE? | IOSG::NEWLAND | Richard Newland, IOSG, REO1-D/4A | Wed Nov 25 1992 16:48 | 15 |
| Does the normal WPS-PLUS editor use 48 lines, and only the Two-Dimensional
Editor use 24 lines? Do other parts of ALL-IN-1 such as LIST use 24 or 48
lines?
I've often found with DECterm windows that the VMS terminal characteristics
information is out of step with the DECterm information.
If you do a $ SHOW TERMINAL what is the terminal page size? ALL-IN-1 uses
this information to determine the size of the terminal. The ALL-IN-1
symbol OA$TERMINAL_PAGE also contains the terminal page length so do a
'<GET OA$TERMINAL_PAGE' to check its value.

| Thanks for the info,
We found that if you do set term/page=48 before going into ALL-IN-1 and
then go into the TDE you can have a 48 line picture.

The WPS-PLUS found in ALL-IN-1 V3.0 allows TDE pictures even
longer. You can draw part of the picture, close it, scroll down
and re-open it, and your TDE picture will be bigger than fits on
the screen.
A selling point to get them to upgrade?

Paul
