One of our customers tells me they saw the following
demonstration somewhere a long time ago. Now they possibly
want the solution but want to see a demo once more.
They have ALL-IN-1 using Wordperfect for word processing. What
they would like to see is a simple (what's simple) form created
within Wordperfect. We think the ability to tab is all that is
required within the form, i.e. no table lookups, required fields,
etc.
The form is then sent to OfficeVision running on an AS/400.
OfficeVision needs to be able to read and edit the document
(revisable format) and then send it back to the VAX system.
The customer mentioned something about one of the third parties,
possibly Boston Software Works or JNET, that was the go-between
software.
Anybody know if this can be done? Has tried it?
Been there before?

| To answer my own questions. Boston Software Works will allow you to do
what I am looking for. They will translate the Wordperfect doc to the
default WP software of OfficeVision on the AS/400. They will translate
most of the common features.
They support two different types of connectivity. Asynchronous from
the VAX system to the AS/400 and I think they said LU6.2.
