Has anyone come across a product called "Report Writer for ALL-IN-1", from a company called Office Integrated Solutions in Ireland? I just received a glossy from them through the post, and at first glance it seems like a useful product. It supposedly can extract data from Rdb, RMS and ORACLE, and formats it into reports, the layout of which can be easily customised. Has anyone actually seen or used it? If it could talk to MUMPS then i may have a customer who could benefit from it. mb

OIS is actually Aidan O'Leary and Eoin Maguire, both of whom used to
work for Digital. Aidan worked on Customization Management for a time,
as well as on things like SFCP and a number of ASSETS.
The Report Writer uses a 4GL called "Ruler" (I think that's its name).
OIS created an interface between Ruler and ALL-IN-1 with some CLI,
probably with AIM. I can't recall the exact details as it's a while
ago since I spoke about it with either of the guilty parties.
I don't know if it can go near MUMPS....
