I have a user who has a problem reading documents. He is able to edit/print a document, but when he tries to read it there is nothing there, just an empty document. There is nothing unusual about this document, it is wpsplus and does not seem to have any attributes different to ones which are readable. Doing a gold/v during edit does not reveal any wierd characters. If I do a cd and convert the document to standard acsii the I can read it, but this is not practical as quite a few documents are affected. Has anyone seen this problem ?

I have no answer other than a few questions: how where the documents created? Is the handling on the documents the same for all? Have you traced and checked the pointers to the documents and file names? Are there any other dsabs on the system other than the standard ALL-IN-1? If this is all WPS-PLUS have you checked the WPS-PLUS conference? TTH, Tim |
