Hi,
Just a small question about ALL-IN-1 IOS V3.0 :
Is it possible to format all the printers jobs in a queue on a remote
node ? I just need to know if the concept is possible ( I believe it's
not implemented for the moment but the customer can customize the pro-
duct).
Thank you for yours answers,
Valrie CORNU.

ALL-IN-1 does not support peforming background formatting on a remote
system. The OA$FORMATTER jobs need to execute on the same node which is
running ALL-IN-1 because they process temporary user files put in the
ALL-IN-1 user's OAUSER directory.
As for the concept anything is possible with enough work, but it would be a
major undertaking to implement distributed formatting queues, similar to
what DQS provides for print queues.
An alternative could be to add the remote node into the ALL-IN-1 cluster
and configure the OA$FORMATTER and print queues to execute on that node.
