A customer plans to remove the ALL-IN-1 system, but keep the WPS/Plus. How can the users' documents be maintained? ALL-IN-1 version is V2.4. WPS/Plus version is V4.1. Thanks, Steven Lau

Install the WPS-PLUS/VMS kit first and get it working. Get directories for each user created. Then look at the code we provide for doing the transfer (it's described in the Installation Guide) the other way and see if you can write something which works the way round that you want. Of course someone may have done this before. You should probably ask in the WPS-PLUS conference (see 4.* here for pointer) since they might more likely know. Shared mail messages may be a problem if you want to keep those. Graham |
