- THE USER AGENT IS UKNOWN IN THE MAIL DIRECTORY - We are experiencing problems using EM from ALL-IN-1 V2.4. The error message is as above. We understand some things about how the user agent works, have read the stars entries etc. but still can not understand why we are experiencing this error. Our actions: 1 - we have deleted the user agent entry 2 - we have built and added the built object using MBMAN 3 - we have populated the user agent using ALL-IN-1 as described in the mail management guide p5-27 WHAT HAS CHANGED! - we have just turned this node into a cluster. We have added a cluster alias node and executor entry. ALL-IN-1 will only be started on this one node - should we change the useragent entry from the original nodename to the cluster alias node name. Does this action involve a complete rebuild of Message Router (knowing how sensitive MR is to node name changes). Does anyone have experience of this?

1511.1 | Answered your own question I think | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | It wasn't supposed to end this way | Fri Sep 25 1992 22:44 | 16 |
[start of official bit] ALL-IN-1 isn't officially supported when running on just one node of a common environment cluster. [end of official bit] You are saying that your Useragent is called 'node' when it should be called 'cluster' so I think you have actually answered your own question as to why you are getting this error. If you call your UA OA$cluster$ALLIN1 does the error go away? Regards, Andrew.D.Wicks |
