1505.0. "*Wish* Distribution list update option if it contains invalid users" by GIDDAY::SETHI (Man from Downunder) Fri Sep 25 1992 10:03

Hi All,

Distribution list that contain names of users that have been deleted or
renamed, when the distribution list is used it output an error message.
Is it possible in a future release to capture these names and display
them in a box. For example

Currently

User sends a message

mumble mumble error message flashes across the screen at a lightening
speed.

Future

User sends a message

Invalid addresses captured to an output buffer

End of the send operation a box is displayed

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Distribution List Name

Job Bloggs - not a valid address

Distribution list Name 2 (if there is one)

etc.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

All of this in a scrolled region. Then give the user the option of
updating the address or deleting it.

This could be a nice little utility to have for the users.
