1473.0. "Developement OK - LIVE gets ACC VIO.." by TAV02::CHAIM (Semper ubi Sub ubi .....) Tue Sep 22 1992 16:25

ALL-IN-1 V2.4

One of our customers has developed a script and two BLPs. As long as they were
still in the developement area it worked fine. The moment he transfered the
elements to the LIVE area, he receives an improperly handled condition and gets
an acc vio.

He is sending me the elements.

My gut feeling is that it might have something to do with the TXL, since
inherently this is the difference whether it is run from developement or from
the LIVE area.

Since I don't currently have any more information until I receive copies of the
elements, I cannot yet post any further information. However, I would
appreciate ideas as to what to be looking for.

Thanks,

Cb.

Look for TABS near IF THEN statements...

Strip all tabs out then recompile the TXL.

Yes, I'd agree with Winton. There's something about TABs in IF/THEN
statements, or maybe tab stops are being used to separate out functions
    instead of spaces...

1473.3The infamous continuation line strikes again..TAV02::CHAIMSemper ubi Sub ubi .....Thu Sep 24 1992 12:486
My hunch that the TXL is the culprit was correct. The BLP
contained a VERY long continuation line,

Thanks for the assistance.
