Hi folks, Multilingual systems.... In the Release Notes for v2.3 it states that "If you have more than one language installed, users who work in different languages during different ALL-IN-1 sessions can access only those distribution lists that were created in the language that is current for the session." However this is not re-stated in the v2.4 Release Notes but a customer has reported this same problem against v2.4. Can anyone confirm that this is still a problem in that version and if so whether it is 'fixed' in v3.0. cheers Alan Crooks UK CSC.

Hi Alan, This is still the same, I'm afraid. Multilinguality in ALL-IN-1 never went as far as that. The same is true for all system folders, incl. INBOX, OUTBOX, CREATED, READ, WASTEBASKET. Stefan | |||||
1391.2 | Should be OK in V3 | IOSG::MAURICE | Ceci n'est pas une note | Fri Sep 11 1992 09:23 | 14 |
Hi Alan, I think it works OK now in V3.0. This is because each drawer has a language that does not vary as users enter ALL-IN-1 in different languages. For example if a user's main drawer is Spanish but the user enters ALL-IN-1 in English then the Distribution Lists will be in folder LISTAS DE DISTRIBUCION, and new messages will go in CREADOS, and so on. I think you're right about it not working in V2.4. Cheers Stuart |
