I, the author, have set .0 and .2 hidden as this might be a subject
that should not be discussed here.
If the moderator(s) wish, they can set them /nohiddem or leave them
/hidden as they see fit.

I'm not smart enough to work out whether the "problem" described in .0
was also a securty problem in V2.4. If it was, then I think it's
appropriate that it's hidden. If it isn't, and it was only a problem
that we introduced (and fixed!) during the development of V3.0, then
I'll unhide all these notes when I'm advised to do so.
.3 describes it as a behavioural change that was introduced to close a
security hole. If this inconveniences others, then that's unfortunate,
but inevitable. The author of the fix is in discussion with the author
of the base note off-line.
Meanwhile, most of the replies to this are hidden!
