| Hi,
I know nothing about HP Laserjets, and not much about print styles, but try
changing the "Form Feed" field on the Print Settings form to N and see if it
makes a difference.
You get to the Print Settings form by typing GOLD-E after typing in the
"Document Destination" and "Print Style" fields on the print form.

When you answer N a message will be displayed saying which style will be
used, so what is the style?

Re .2 the default HPLJIII style.
Richard, what sequence do you get to switch to landscape if
you print to file with HPLJIII print style?
thanks in advance
Alan.

1328.4 | The same sequence | IOSG::NEWLAND | Richard Newland, IOSG, REO1-D/4A | Tue Sep 08 1992 14:57 | 22 |
| Alan,
I created a WPS-PLUS document which contained a New Page followed by a
PRINTER FORMAT LANDSCAPE control block. When I print this to FILE with a
print style of HPLJIII I get the same control sequence at the point where
the new page and switch to landscape occur.
I also tried printing the same document to a different Print Destination
and answered Y to the question:
Do you wish to use the HPLJIII print style [Y/N]?
The created listing file was exactly the same as the previous file, so I
cannot reproduce what happened on your system.
I do not have access to an HPLJIII printer so I cannot see what happens
when the documents are printed.
