Hello,
My ALL-IN-1 system is V2.4 running under VMS V5.4-3. When A1 installation, the question asked
to translate outgoing WPS-PLUS and DX messages to ASCII and I answer YES. Now if I want to
change it to YES (ie. no format exchange when outgoing) How can I change this setting?
If I perform the below steps, can the above question be solved?
1. <FORM A1CONFIG
2. Change WPS+ to 0
3. Save the changes
4. Restart ALL-IN-1
Another question: if the mails is in ASCII format, I can't change the setting when I want to
print it out. Is this problem related to the above question? If yes, once the above A1 setting
changed, can this problem be solved?

| The translation is controled via the logical name OA$MTI_TRANS. Thsi
logical is set from A1CONFIG. Therefore your steps above would fix the
problem long-term. Short term you could just redefine the logical.
Your second question is not related to the
first. Check that the formatting flag in the FORMAT master is set to Y for
ASCII format. I think this could be the root of your problem.
