Hello,
I have a customer who is on occasion failing to start ALL-IN-1 during
a reboot with a "sharable images must be installed" error message. They
are running in a cluster with VMS 5.4-2, and all nodes are running
ALL-IN-1. The files it complains about change but the two most common
are LIBRTL2 and CONVSHR. After the reboot finishes, they can run the
A1V24START and there are no problems.
Will placing the ALL-IN-1 startup further down in the startup fix
this?
Derek Street.

These are normally in
$ sea sys$startup:vmsi*.dat librtl2,convshr

SYS$SYSROOT:[SYSMGR]VMSIMAGES.DAT;24
sys$share:convshr
sys$share:librtl2 /open /header /shared ! 1/59
AUTOGEN puts them over there. They are installed before
SYSTARTUP_V5 runs...
Rerunning A1V24START.COM shouldn't make any difference.

Jan
