Hello and greetings,

Customer is experiencing difficulties with housekeeping procedures.

ALL-IN-1 v2.4 (unpatched)
SFCP v1.2
Message Router v3.1B
WordPerfect

PT - the log file reports:
 	"smjacket facility exiting due to error"
TRU & TRM - for both the log files report:
 	error opening sys$sysdevice:[allin1]smlog%.tmp for output
 	no repairs made to are oa$share.
 they then exit with the code %x101C109C
		
The SMJACKET.COM does not appear to have been modified under either CM or DCL

I tried having the customer re-submit TRM, after making SURE that none of his 
local symbols/logicals were being invoked by the ALL-IN-1 login procedure, and 
also using /NOCUSTOMISE. The results were an improvement, - the processing 
was actually being done - ie phase 1, 2 & 3 seem to complete OK - for the first
time - but the error in SMJACKET still occurred. (The customer WAS however, 
running the janitor at the same time ...

I had the customer check the version limits set on his directories, from ALLIN1
.DIR down - all were set to 0

I am trying to convince the customer to instal K603, but would appreciate some 
correction suggestions.

	Chele, OA$LIB:OA$SM_FCVR_SCHEDULE.COM calls: GET OA$DCL = "$RUN OA$LIB:OA$SM_FCVR" Perhaps there is an old 2.3 version of OA$SM_FCVR.EXE hanging around in OA$SITE_LIB_mumble. This version does not generate the tmp files. Regards, Jan
