1222.0. "Remote address (DDS) instead of local address" by GVA05::BOULMIER (Looking for Spirituality) Wed Aug 12 1992 15:14

I just installed Message-router with DDS at a customer. ALL-IN-1 was
already installed and I did the post installation task to make them
    working together.

    The only thing strange is:

In Electronic Messaging, when Create a new memo, at the FIRST field TO:
the FIRST TIME, ALL-IN-1 returns the remote address of the local user,
the second one is OK, if you go back to the first line, it now returns
the right address of the local user: Its ALL-IN-1 username (because it
    is local).

This means, each time you create a memo, the first time you add the
first user at the first field TO:, you get the remote address, after
    that everything is OK.

What's wrong ? Is there a patch for this ? I already heard about
something like that in the past but I have no fix.

    Please help,
    Thanks,
    Patrick

I have looked at note 820, but with all the hidden notes it is not overly
informative vis-a-vis this particular problem.

I have just encountered the same problem with a customer who is contemplating
using DDS in V2.4. I do recall that this problem had been introduced in V2.3,
but I was under the impression that it had been fixed and was very unpleasantly
surprised when I saw it pop up again.

1. Is there a patch/fix/workaround for this problem in V2.4

   If not

2. Is it fixed in V3.0

Thanks,

Cb.
